Gambit Tournament!

Next Thursday, July 17th, sees the return of one of our summer favourites: the Gambit Tournament.

We’ll be playing four rounds, each beginning with a different gambit opening. There are gambits for both black and white in e4 and d4 systems, so hopefully everyone will get to see something not too far from their opening repertoire. You can find details of the gambits we’ll be playing here.
You’ll be competing for a bottle of champagne –  the proceeds of our victorious campaigns in last season’s Roger Goldsmith competitions. Another will be will be up for grabs in a few weeks.
As ever, the outline of the summer programme as a whole is online at: www.bsechess.org.uk/summer.
