Coronavirus

Due to Coronavirus, the Bury St Edmunds Chess Club has moved into “online only” mode, about which you’ll find more details below. In like manner, the two leagues in which we participate have suspended their activities, with no matches scheduled until further notice. Keep an eye on our website, for details of when we resume meetings.

Bury St Edmunds Chess Club Online

In our usual Thursday evening slot, we’re organising tournaments on the chess.com website. Tournaments begin at 7:45pm each Thursday, but you’ll have to create a chess.com account and join our online counterpart to get access. This can all be done free of charge. You can find our online club here: www.chess.com/club/bury-st-edmunds-chess-club.
