Club Enters the Iceni Live League

Bury St Edmunds have entered a team into the Iceni Live League competition. This is an online competition being played on chess.com. To play for the Bury St Edmunds team you must be a member of our chess.com club. Please contact Steve Lovell if you are interested in playing for our team.

Rules

Matches take place weekly, starting at 7:30pm. All matches are “double headers” meaning each pairing plays twice (with colours reversed for the second game). All games use the time control 15|10. Based on the likely strength of our team in relation to others, our team has been placed in Division 1. Full rules are available at https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/iceni-live-league-1

Steve Lovell

Steve is the Communications Officer for the Bury St Edmunds Chess Club. He is also the Internet Officer for the Bury Area Chess League and the Suffolk County Chess Association. Since 2015, Steve has been the organiser of the Bury St Edmunds Chess Congress. Outside of chess, if there is such a thing, Steve works in IT at Greene King.
