Please find linked below details of our upcoming AGM. The AGM will be held online using the Jitsi platform, a free alternative to Zoom.

In addition to standard items such as club finances and the election of officers we’ll be discussing the practicalities of resuming over-the-board chess and explaining the options available for online chess until normal activities resume (though also read on for the basics). Steve Lovell

Steve is the Communications Officer for the Bury St Edmunds Chess Club. He is also the Internet Officer for the Bury Area Chess League and the Suffolk County Chess Association. Since 2015, Steve has been the organiser of the Bury St Edmunds Chess Congress. Outside of chess, if there is such a thing, Steve works in IT at Greene King.
